Freeform Peyote Challenge Choose Your Own Adventure

Hi Y'all,

This is going to be a short and sweet post.  I did not get my piece finished to be honest I got the crud after coming back home from my beading retreat with my Beading Fairies, so I have really not been up to doing much of anything at all.

Karen Williams of Baublicious blog and Mandy Ainsworth Bead Circle teamed up to have a freeform peyote challenge and I said what the heck why not I have never done freeform and have been wanting to give it a try.  Well let me tell you it was not that easy for this OCD personality to accomplish, but I pushed through it and I completed one for another challenge here is the picture of that one.

And here is the picture of the one for this challenge a work in progress.

I am not going to say that when I finish this I will post a picture, because to be honest it may never get finished, but then it just might, I am not sure at this point.

Please go by and check out what everyone else has made or is making for this challenge.  I will get around to everyone later.

Happy beading Y'all,
Therese

  11. Hope you feel better soon Therese! There has been so much ick going around this year.

Personally, I would highly encourage you to finish your second piece. You have made a wonderful start, and if it were mine I would say it's just about to all come together. The sides are a little thin right now to support the stone> I like your focal and your colors work beautifully with the stone. It will all come together if you keep stitching. That's my two cents! :)

  15. I'm sorry you got sick! It always comes at the worst time, doesn't it?

You're off to an awesome start with your freeform, though! I hope you do finish, because it looks beautiful, but no pressure -- when I'm not feeling a project, nothing in the world can get me to finish it. :)
