Hi Y'all,
It is week nine of Focusing on Life 52 photos. This week's prompt is all about doors, either literally or figuratively. My door is a new door into a new work area for me. As most of you know by now my day job is Police Communications for the State of Alabama. This week we moved into our new Communications Center when it is fully operational it will be top notch. When I open the door to the Communications Center there is no telling what will be going on, it could be calm and quite, or it could be a whirl wind of activity.
Head on over to Sally's blog to see more doors.
Happy beading Y'all,
Therese
Oh Therese, I am so intrigued by your job and what your day must be like!
ReplyDeleteYours is a very special door, as you provide assistance to so many in desperate need...very cool!
ReplyDeleteOh, Therese, every time when I see one of my favourite shows (Flashpoint - it just started as I started to type!) I inevitably think of you. Your door is very special indeed - may your days be peaceful and quite.
ReplyDeletelet's hope most of the times it's quiet and a happy work environment... :)
ReplyDeleteWell, if your door always opened onto peace and calm, it would not be necessary. I guess I wish for you that there always be CONTROL. Great picture.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually quite a powerful image when you think about all the people who call in probably what is one of the worst moments of their lives. Enjoy your new state-of-the-art digs and thank you for what you do.
ReplyDeleteHope your new office stays calm... although too calm can make for boring days!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture! And what an exciting job that must be.
ReplyDeleteHi Therese,
ReplyDeleteAre there days when you job feels like a TV show? It will be interesting to see the impact of the new Communications Center!
Great door. I love how you never know what's going to be going on as you walk through. True excitement if you ask me!
ReplyDeleteLaw enforcement - you truly never know what is behind that door! (hubby was in law enforcement for 25 years) :) The up side is that every day is new and different. :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous picture of your work door - like you said you will never know what is going on a certain day unless you open that door! Thanks for sharing!
