(Please Read Carefully..)
The Sisterhood of the Traveling bead Box arrived 2 weeks ago to my house. Was I ever Over~joyed to of won this Box! I am the 20th person. Alice fromThe Bliss Guild was the previous winner and it is my turn now to pass this 18 pound box of wonderfulness to the next person. Alice put some extra gifts in for me which I loved..thank you Alice! There is a cool Journal to write in and add about your experience with the was wonderful reading it. My Best wishes to the next winner!

The Box was born from Heather Powers Humblebeads lovely brain and great generosity! There have been wonderful designer beads and lots of semi precious stones and all sorts given, taken out and replaced. I have added many GREAT focals to keep this Box great!

Please add Wonderful Things to this Box!
No Junk!

You Must Do The Same Please or else the Box becomes useless and will die. Pass it Forward!

  1. Ok maybe I am just being sensitive here but ugh. The person who has the box currently seems more concerned with the value of the items then the actual spirit of it. She talks about adding items of EQUAL value and No JUNK and how she herself added GREAT pieces. I am new to beading and my "stash" consists mostly of seed beads, some findings and a lot of 4mm natural stones. So I am not going to bother trying to enter then get flamed for not being able to put back items of EQUAL value.

Sorry Therese about my rant I forgot to take my hormones last night and I think I am getting moody lol. In fact I think I will go take them now before I have to eat some crow!

  2. Therese I wish you good luck in this one.. Looks very fun but as you know I am not eligible to participate. You are very lucky girls in the state as you have fun together ... here for the moment I do not see a beading community or maybe I am just very isolated....
Anyway keep finger cross for you...

  3. OOOOh, this looks like fun to me!
I think what the current winner of the box refers to is valid though. Marla, I think you might have misunderstood it. Seed beads can be VERY valuable and very pricey too. And the true don't have to collide. Darn things are quite pricey even when they aren't the most expensive of their kind. I think junk means plastic kiddie beads and the stuff that sells by the pound, and the warning is fair enough. So, I think you should still participate:))

  4. It would be so interesting to see what's in the bead box now! Seems like yesterday that I sat with Lori Anderson and poured through the contents - what fun!

  5. I love this idea. Heather is so smart and creative.

  6. You didn't leave me an email, so I'll have to contact you this way ;) congrats on winning my Freebie Friday at 'Creative Chaos'. email me your addie so I can mail off your prize!

  7. Congrats on getting the box, how exciting!
And thanks for following me on my new blog ~ I've tried to reply to your comments, but alas, you are a "no-reply" blogger, so I thank you publicly.
