  1. Ok maybe I am just being sensitive here but ugh. The person who has the box currently seems more concerned with the value of the items then the actual spirit of it. She talks about adding items of EQUAL value and No JUNK and how she herself added GREAT pieces. I am new to beading and my "stash" consists mostly of seed beads, some findings and a lot of 4mm natural stones. So I am not going to bother trying to enter then get flamed for not being able to put back items of EQUAL value.

Sorry Therese about my rant I forgot to take my hormones last night and I think I am getting moody lol. In fact I think I will go take them now before I have to eat some crow!

  2. Therese I wish you good luck in this one.. Looks very fun but as you know I am not eligible to participate. You are very lucky girls in the state as you have fun together ... here for the moment I do not see a beading community or maybe I am just very isolated....
Anyway keep finger cross for you...

  3. OOOOh, this looks like fun to me!
I think what the current winner of the box refers to is valid though. Marla, I think you might have misunderstood it. Seed beads can be VERY valuable and very pricey too. And the true don't have to collide. Darn things are quite pricey even when they aren't the most expensive of their kind. I think junk means plastic kiddie beads and the stuff that sells by the pound, and the warning is fair enough. So, I think you should still participate:))

  4. It would be so interesting to see what's in the bead box now! Seems like yesterday that I sat with Lori Anderson and poured through the contents - what fun!
